    frame scrolling problem (IE only issue)

    You can find all the code at: http://www.zerovektor.com/code/frame/
    layout.css
    index.html
    top.html
    middle.html
    bottom.html

    Problem is, in IE when the content in the middle page extends to where you would have to vertical scroll, the appearance of the vertical scroll bar causes there to be a horizontal scroll bar for the 10 pixels or so it pushes everything over. Any thing i can add or do to make it not have the horizontal scroll bar?

    no i can't get rid of the frames....its the only way since the bottom frame will be refreshing...constantly.

    Can this be fixed by adding any more css to the page?

    Hi,

    Try forcing quirks mode by using the xml prologue.
    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>

    Or try this solution that I found somewhere but can't guarantee that it works.
    Code:
    <style style="text/css"><!--
    * html body { w\idth: expression(document.documentElement.clientWidth - 20); }
    --></style>
