Why won't Netscape recognise this?

Please help, I thought I was getting better The following style from an external stylesheet works perfectly in IE6 but produces no result in NS7, everything else works fine in both.

Seems to be working fine for me here in Mozilla Firefox (which uses a more recent version of the same rendering engine as NN7)

Which exact version of NN7? 7.0, 7.1 or 7.2? Despite the similar numbers, there are fairly substantial back-end differences...

Though while I'm looking at it, what's going on here:

<tablebody>? Ain't no such beastie, IIRC. From the closing tag, perhaps you mean <tbody>? Though if so, the <thead> should be outside (and before) it, not inside it.

More haste less speed! I'm not bad at php but my html and CSS skills are on a steep curve - probably straight up

Thanks for the help blufive. Have since sorted it by moving it up the style sheet which makes me think I have something else wrong - but it's all working OK so I'll finish my O'really CSS book and look later.

Will fix my <tablebody> and thead errors also.
