Ok, i am purchasing a new p.c which is super powerfull..but hey, whats a powerfull p.c if it is open to attack by countless viruses etc..So, i am also purchasing anti-virus/firewall software..Which do i choose..
Norton anti-virus 2004 or Panda Platinum, so far i am set on Panda .

Im using panda platinum ver 7, been using that since januray and before that i was using version 6 for two years, i find panda a quality bit of software. Doesnt slow the computer down atall, latley its been doing 2 auto virus updates a day if my computer is on all day that is.
I'd go for Norton AntiVirus... It costs money, and a fair bit of it too, but it's reliable and well-designed. I've never used anything else, and never had a virus of any sort when running it.
I recommend Norton as well. Never had an infection on my PC including the time when I was working on a friends computer hooked up to my network and she had 600 distinct viruses, trojans and worms on her computer. Norton allowed me to clean the PC so that I could safely backup all of her data and then reformat and reinstall all her software.
