    .nyud.net:8090 - Mirror of every site on the Net

    Apparently you can view any site on the Internet (like if it's down, etc.) by appending ".nyud.net:8090" to its domain. Wild.

    So you are basically access the website via a non standard internet port... might prove nice in some ways but I don't see how it would help on a site that is acutally down, offline, or when a web server that host that website is down... If the web server is down your not getting the data. That's like trying to open a file on a computer that is turned off.

    Looks like a cool idea though!

    Oh yeah, I think your site has to actually participate in the mirroring (i.e. mirror other sites) to be mirrored itself.
