    Image Placement trouble

    Hi all,

    I'm making a test page for a friend. Currently, I have a drop down menu, an image "flowing" into that menu, and a logo. I want to position the logo (a globe) OVER the green wavy thing on the left.

    Can't seem to get it over there to save my life. Any thoughts?

    The page is at http://www.bartlett-family.net/test2

    Thanks!

    Chris

    Hi,

    Why don't you just put it where you want then or am I missing something here

    Code:
    .logo {
     background:transparent url(http://www.bartlett-family.net/test2/GFS_Logo3.jpg) no-repeat;;
     width: 176px;
     height: 107px;
     margin: 1px 0px 0px 0px;
     z-index: 200;
     position:absolute;
     left:5px;
     top:5px;
    }
    Of course this won't look right if you're expecting to put your image on top of the green wavy thing as the backgrounds won't match up.

    You'd be better off incorporating the image into the green wavy thing within your graphic program.

    Hope that helps anyway.

    You're absolutely right, and that's what I ended up doing after I originally posted anyway. Thanks

    Oops!

    Only one more thing I'd like to do... Center the whole thing. How do I do this (without using the cheesy "<center> deprecated HTML tags)?

    This is covered fully in the FAQ sticky thread under the post entitled "How to centre an existing page". If you read the thread it goes into all the details you need
