    Exclamation CSS & Flash

    Does anyone know of a way to do an image replacement method only using a flash object instead of a static image???

    So i would replace the H1 tag of my page with a flash object???

    Probably can't be done but it would be cool!!!

    Why should CSS do the replacement when HTML can?
    HTML Code:
    <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="masthead.swf" width="350" height="60">
    			<param name="movie" value="masthead.swf" />
    			<param name="quality" value="high" />
    				<h1>Your Heading here</h1>

    			</object>
    If a user has Flash available, the movie is shown. If not, then the heading is shown. Any other Flash replacement method has the drawback of using scripting (though I'll admit that using the script-based replacement makes for slightly easier maintenance).

    Check out the sIFR by Mike Davidson. It dynamically replaces headings or whatever with a flash file embedded with the font of your choosing.
