Where do you get your content from?

I am putting together a home improvement site and would like to fill it up with content, quickly.
Is there anyplace I could get syndicated or low cost articles from?

there are many sites on the net that you can syndicate contents as long as give them the author and the site credits.

You could always write yourself, or get together a team of writers. It's the easiest way to avoid "borrowing" article problems and it makes your site unique to have original perspectives rather than just re-gurgitated news.

If you aren't in a huge hurry to put the site up, I would recommend making sure you have a decent amount of content before the site goes live, or else you may not get visitors coming back.

Stock articles are also useful. But you are normally required to put the byline (usually author's name, their URL, etc) under the article.

But with home improvement, I bet many people would be happy to do interviews (especially people in the home improvement industry - they'd go for the promotion).

I prefer writing myself, but if you need lots of content fast you can try Constant Content.

It's always best to be original....why should they go to your site to see content that can be seen on 50 other sites?
