Hi guys, once again I'm asking if "this is the best way".

I have a registration process that's 5 pages long. After the registration is complete, I'd like the visitor to be sent back to the page they were on when they clicked on "Register".

I'm thinking of storing a referrer variable (will be set on page 1 obviously) in a cookie. The variable would be then used to redirect the visitor after registration is complete. Is this the best way to do this?

Thanks for all the help, this community is great.

A cookie is a good way, unless the user has cookies disabled.

An alternate method is to pass the variable through each page through a hidden form field.

register the referrer into a session variable, if you can do sessions.
