I tried some radio but I can't concentrate to talk-shows or news. Havent tried movies though, yet..

it is much easeir to work with music

Well, I know this is more funk, but check out Jaco Pastorius. He is, in my opinion, the greatest bass player ever! He did a lot of funk and big band type music. It's great

Music! A must have. Winamp is the best. I think I have a better sound system on my PC then anywhere in the house.

I listen to music no matter what I'm doing.. yep.. Winamp is always loaded.. Lots of different stuff works when i'm coding, etc.. i have weird musical mood swings.. i go from nin, machine head, nonpoint, my chemical romance, the used, from zero.. to stuff like john mayer, maroon5, and of course phil, peter and Genesis..

I watch DVD's while coding too.. love to watch fight club - makes me work faster and i get more creative when designing. don't know why.. lol

Winamp is always loaded but the genre that's loaded into it can change drastically. Some days it's the heavy stuff, other days it's just groovesalad, other days no music at all. 90% time I'm listening to music while I code.
I can't even imagine trying to watch a dvd and code, I'd get nothing done codewise.
