    Exclamation Price Comparison Script

I'm after a price comparison script. I have been searching everywhere and i cannot find it. I am trying to get the script that bizrate.com

I will charge websites to add there products to my website and then once customers veiw the product, it will show the differ prices of each website as to which one is cheaper or more money.

Can anyone please contact me with any info on how to get this system setup on my website. Please someone write back!

    Regards,

Can't think of a solution just now, though I don't actually think that this is an advanced topic of discussion ?

If you're going to write your own application, I suggest you consider downloading XML data from their servers rather than having them upload information to your server.

You wont necessarily save bandwidth or disk space, since you would probably want to save that XML data someplace else (a database for example). You wouldn't want to download and parse an XML document for every page view. It would be convenient for those customers with XML knowledge. Perhaps make it an option.

For those who don't understand, each one of AlbanianMuzikCOm's customers could develop an automated system that writes an XML document or documents rather than having to manually readd all their products to yet another web site. Imagine, for a moment, you add a new product to your web site and in a few days that product shows up on AlbanianMuzikCOm site and perhaps other sites as well. Welcome to the world of XML syndication.

Sounds great.. If you're looking for pre-made scripts, you could try www.hotscripts.com/PHP which might could have something like this already. They have everything

Then you may well have to ask someone to script a solution for you, doubtful you'll find a ready made script freely available that'd suit your every need.

Maybe, in fact, your in the wrong forum ? You might have more luck in the trading forum for example

I have been using 2+ years writing my own script (Admin + Merchant + Frontend). I didnt knew anything about php and mysql when I started. Looked for ages for a pre-made script, but was not able to find anything - there are no "easy way". I will suggest you start reading a "users management tutorial" (signup, login, secure area.... etc), and start at the Admin area.

You can see a beta version of my frontend here: www.tackleprices.com

    I work for www.PriceComparison.com.

I have put some serious hard work into our website.
I don't think we could have done it with a pre-existing script.
    It is just not possible.
