    Selective Transparency????

    I noticed something very odd on a church website I recently updated - converting frames to CSS-P.

    The problem is with the navigation menu and I only notice it on one page
    This one

    When pointing on the navigation - the drop downs are transparent when they are on top of the Bible verses. I only notice this on this page and only on the lines that are
    <p class="bible"> and the CSS to that class is this:
    p.bible {
    font-style: italic;
    font-size: 90%;
    font-weight: bold;
    color: maroon;
    position: relative;
    top: -1.25em;
    }

    Why are these verses shining through??????

    Hi,

    Its just a z-index issue.

    This should fix it.
    Code:
    #nav li { /* all list items */
      position: relative; /*effects location of main box*/
      float: left;
      line-height : 1.25em;/* affects main list and drop down - good if I can keep drop down smaller */
      margin-bottom : -1px;
      width: 11em; /*for Opera*/
      z-index:100;
    }
