    Unhappy H1 tags not displaying properly in Netscape and Opera?

    Hi

    Could someone please take a look at this please http://www.cuckfield-lodge.co.uk/new/headertags.htm

    The H1 tags don't seem to be being picked up in Netscape and Opera, they are very large.

    I tried taken the font class out of the body, html classes but this did not make any difference, I can't work out why it is doing this, I have never had this problem before!!

    Is it an inheritence problem maybe?

    Thanks for any help

    Works For Me. Do you mean Netscape 4? Or 7?

    If you look in Netscape 6 or opera 7 the heading "O'spa Retreat Packages" is bigger than if displayed in IE, also if I change the colour of it nothing happens, so there has to be something quite not right somewhere?

    It is larger but not huge. I guess I was expecting to see humongous letters accross my monitor. But you are right, the size difference is too much to be just a difference in rendering engines.

    I think I have sussed it, i did not enclose enclose Time New Roman in quotes, also I had the color as a shorthand property which you can't do !

    Hi,

    Its because you have include color on the end of the font shorthand which is not allowed.

    It should be:
    Code:
    h1{
     font:bold 14px georgia, "times new roman", times, serif;
     margin:0px 0px 0px 0px;
     padding:0px 0px 10px 10px;
     color: #39342A;
    }
    Paul
