horizontal menu issues

The menu isn't nailed down yet but am having some issues with that old thing Internet Explorer, I also checked the suckerfish menus in IE which also have the same gap appearing in them when added to my index page. I assume it taking on extra padding or margin from a parent but don't know enough to work out what.

just come back to this as I've had other clients to deal with still having issues with it, looked into it today and read some of the other queries on here but still having the same issue.

any ideas?

Hi,

I think IE needs the left reset to zero and not to auto.

Change this:

#nav li:hover ul, #nav li li:hover ul, #nav li li li:hover ul, #nav li.sfhover ul, 
#nav li li.sfhover ul, #nav li li li.sfhover ul { left: auto;}

to this:

#nav li:hover ul, #nav li li:hover ul, #nav li li li:hover ul, #nav li.sfhover ul, 
#nav li li.sfhover ul, #nav li li li.sfhover ul { left: auto;_left:0 }

(Note the underscore which only ie will parse.)
