I'm looking for something that can spot my open quotes and dangling brackets on php pages while I work on them on my Mac. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Hi Sam,

You can try BBEdit. When you type a close bracket, BBEdit will "blink" the open bracket so that you will know which bracket you close.

I find this feature very useful when I write PHP scripts in my Mac.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

Thanks, I've never really explored the features of BBedit -- I'll take a second (first) look at it.

I just went to the web site for janeBuilder - - that's all I can say. I might even download it and play with it over the weekend for a laugh. I do see it may have a place though - for the absolute beginner. After all, I will admit that the first web site I ever did was coded entirely in Adobe PageMill 1.0 in 1996. Having no clue what a HTML tag was - I bought the box, installed the software, and had my first web site up and running in three days. So I guess it may be one way for someone to introduce themselves to programming web scripts. But did I say ?
