you would need to use Javascript for form validation, since the form is client side, PHP doesn't have the capabilities for validating forms to the extremes you'd need.

it isn't all that difficult really, how well do you know Javascript?. if not well enough, contact me and i'll see what i can do.

Yer, I read in the PHP/mySQL forum that you're having some bother validating form elements from server-side PHP?

I think what your looking for is a client side Javascript, which I see being the better option?

I can't remember the exact thread, but your message is on the forum. The message could be a from a few days/a week ago?

If you've got Dreamweaver 4, it'll do the javascript for you, including an email thingy (in must include an @ and a . ), which is quite good.
Otherwise, it can't be all that hard to code yourself, and if you need it, just tell me what fields and I'll post the validation code for you.

... what's the world coming to?

I guess I am wondering to myself why not use PHP since PHP can do all validation javascript can + . Plus it is easy to turn javascript off in a browser and circumvent someones whole javascript validation scheme.
Please don't PM me with questions.

ooopps...i've been in the forum a week if that, and i've already made a blunder!! I think I opened a new thread to the original question, instead of hitting the reply button?

Anyway's, the thread belongs to the question from Son Nguyen in the PHP/mySQL forum. I *was* only trying to be helpful.

For Son Nguyen, I can still help with the form validation.
