    fsockopen() problem

    Hi all,

    I have this problem with fsockopen and SSL, the line goes like:
    $fp = fsockopen('ssl://'.$host, $port, $errno, $errstr, 5);

    What I get is:
    Warning: fsockopen(): no SSL support in this build

    The webhost I'm using has "--with-imap-ssl" and apache build with modSSL / openSSL.

    Have read some online articles that says "As of PHP 4.3.0, if you have compiled in OpenSSL support" it will work, what does that mean? PHP compiled with openSSL??
    (http://www.cobra-scripts.com/php-man...fsockopen.html)

    Whats the matter here? I'm totally new to fsockopen

    Thanks in advance!

    You need to compile PHP '--with-openssl'.
