Since there exists a 'Content Engineer', is there such a thing as a 'Design Engineer'? If so, what is his/her job description?
Thanks!

The amount of different job titles is very diverse these days.
There is a company who has a position called "The Truth". The person who has this job is in charge of telling the board how it is in point blank terms with no holds barred so they can make the best decision.
Others I have read about include:
Idea Ambassador (2Think Inc.)
C3PO - Chief People, Progress and Potential Officer (Agency.com Ltd.)
Chief Zookeeper (Telezoo.com)
There may be such a title as Design Engineer as well.

Job titles are wierd.
There are two flip-sides to the whole oddball job title approach I suppose. Firstly you could make them pretty standard like graphic designer, programmer, content writer etc so it was blindly obvious what they are all about. But I suppose, it'd get dull after a bit.
The other alternative is to create interesting job titles around existing roles. Stuff like Content Engineer, Graphic Design Artist etc. It makes the job sound more interesting, and a lot more unique than just being a programmer or designer.
I'm sure I read in a survey somewhere that 70% of UK residents would rather have a new, posh job title than a 5% pay rise.
Mine in our office is IT Systems Developer btw. Means general dogsbody.

Do you have a business card that actually says that? That would be funny, I'd love to see the expression on your company's client's faces when they read your card!
