I am starting a new service and will be needing to accept credit cards.

This is a new service so I don't think I will be making to many charges at first. I would also prefer to make these charges by myself. As in, going to a website myself and charging the card manually. I'd like to this because I want to charge the custoemr's card only after I have performed the service I will offer.

My charges will probably be around $10-45. I hear there are some free credit card chrage services on the interent. These might suit me, at least for now. What are your opinions on these? Which are best?

Thanks! Also, if there is a thread from someone in my situation that I could read, please post the link. Thanks again!!

There are a number of ones to look at....

    http://www.ibill.com
    http://www.propay.com
    http://www.worldpay.com (great for Non-US businesses)
    http://www.clickbank.com

I've always heard good stuff about IBill. There are more companies out there, I'm sure others will post.

The problem with PayPal is that people have to sign up with them before they can pay you. It's an added step that a casual customer may not want to do.
