    anyone know why my banner won't show in IE?

    edit: lol i removed "no-repeat" and it works.. but I still have the navigation problem. The nav section is bumped down in firefox and noti n IE.

    also, the headers such as "info" and "skills" create a huge space seperating the content. This is only visible in IE. How do I get rid of that space?

    ?? no.. that's the main image, not the banner. I fixed the banner problem, but I just need help on the navigation and header problem above. That main pic is simply a place holder.

    Hi,

    You must remember with css that its up to you to control the appearance of the elements.

    Browsers give elements default margins and padding but this varies greatly between browsers. You must take control and add the padding and margins that you want. Don't rely on the browsers default all the time.

    Code:
    h2.sidehead{margin:0 0 5px 10px;}
    h3.sidecontent{margin:0 0 5px 10px;}
    #nav ul {
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    }
    Paul
