    i didn't see any forum with this topic, so i posted it here, sorry if it's the wrong forum,

    what is macromedia ultradev used for ??


    is ADOBE PHOTOSHOP better than FIREWORKS ??

    Yes, Photoshop is the best graphics editor you'll fine on the market, however, it's something like twice as much in cost when compared to Fireworks.

    As for UltraDev: it's exactly what it sounds like...Ultra Development. It supports color-coding and such (I think) for various programming languages, etc. Think of it as a WYSIWYG editor for programming as well.

    Yep, but Ultradev doesn't support php!

    Yup, that's a major weakness if you ask me. Well, maybe not yet, but it will be.

    I think http://www.CodeCharge.com might provide something similar to the programming side of UltraDev (with PHP included), but I'm not sure.
