    Does any one know of a list of html that needs to be escaped in php, say for an echo statement? I know the obvious, but don't want to miss anything, javascript code being a good question.

    The only character that need to be escaped are (if I remember correctly), slashes, single quotes, and double quotes basically - it's not a matter of HTML, but rather, the characters used to make up the HTML.
