I've updated my CSS menu and tested it with the browsers I have available here.
I'm looking for comments on how well it works in a wider variety of browsers. If you do try it (Thanks in advance!) and experience a problem please let me know the browser version, the problem you experienced, and if you consider this a major problem or simply an annoyance.
I notice in firefox that the horizontal top menu jumps when you rollover the item. Its not a bad effect but I did solve it for someone before but I think it involved giving a width to the top list.
There are problems in opera and I think they are related to the fact that opera doesn't like to position from within floats and will not use them as a stacking context. You usually have to add an inner wrapper into the float with position:relative for it to work.
I did work out all these problems for someone else so it might be worth searching the forums for similar answers.
