    Firefox Producing Small Gap

    URL:

    http://www.studiox.kxgard3.com/

    As you'll see at the above URL, I have a Flash header. In IE, it's sitting perfectly with no gaps around it, same in Opera.

    In Firefox however, there is a small light-blue gap at the bottom.

    The class:
    Code:
    td.FlashHead
    {
    background-color: #89ACE2;
    height: 150px;
    padding: 0px;
    margin: 0;
    background-image: url(/assets/images/bg-head.jpg);
    vertical-align: top;
    text-align: left;
    }
    The Relevant Source:
    Code:
    <td class="main" width="100%" valign="top">

    <!--BEGIN CONTENT TABLE-->
    <table width="100%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" border="0" class="tableborder">
    	<tbody>

    		<tr>
    			<td valign="top" class="FlashHead" colspan="3"><object width="500" height="150" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,29,0">
                	<param name="movie" value="/assets/images/studiox.swf" />
                	<param name="quality" value="high" />
                	<embed width="500" height="150" src="/assets/images/studiox.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" />
    			</object></td>
    		</tr>
    </tbody></table>
    Any thoughts on how I can resolve this?

    Hi,

    Try this:

    Code:
    td.FlashHead object {display:block}
    The space is cause by room that is allowed for descenders in text. Display:block cures this.

    You're spot on as always. I don't know how you know so much, but I'm sure as hell glad that you do!

    Thanks again.
