Is there anyway to get favicons to not "disapper" after a while? Perhaps something that refreshes the browser?

favicons are stored in your browser cache. WHen you empty your cache they will disappear.

    Unfortunate, but true.

If I want to keep a favicon, I find it in the cache, move it to a special icons directory, and set the favorite's icon to it. But, what average visitor is going to do that...?
