    Exclamation MCrypt

    How do you use MCRYPT?

    $passkey = "secret key";
    $password = "This is a great password.";

    Insert into table values MCRYPT('$passkey', '$password');

    Select * from table where password = MCRYPT('secret key', 'This is a great password.');

    And what does
    MCRYPT_RAND do?

    No such MySQL functions. Are you talking about MD5() or SHA1() or PASSWORD() or possibly ENCRYPT()?
