    where did that come from?

    I have been busy on a site for a while now, and i appear to have a problem with IE 6/Win, for some reason i get about 15 pixel bigger gap then in any other browser on the left side of my "totalwrap". It's supposed to be 15 pixels but in IE it shows as about 30px.

    Works perfectly on my mac with IE, Safari and Mozilla...

    Is there any fix for this problem? Thanks!

    It looks like IE's Double margin bug, I'm sure it has a cooler name.

    Here is an example:
    Code:
    /* Correct value not read by IE */
    html>body #hometabs {  margin-right: 10px; }

    /* Half the value. Read by IE, but not by others due to rule above is more specified */
    #hometabs { margin-right: 5px;}

    Hi,

    Junjun is correct but there is an easier solution

    Just add display:inline to your wrapper style:

    Code:
    #wrapper {
     width: 76%;
     float: left;
     margin: 15px -3px 30px 15px;
     display:inline;
    }
    This fixes it exactly.

    Other browsers ignore the display:inline because the specs tell them that floats are display:block by default and cannot be changed by css.

    However it fixes ie's double margin gap with no bad side effects.
