    Question disappearing error with css

    Hi guys,

    just found an annoying error. It's about this site:

    xhtml file: http://moin.phusion9.net/x/awareless/index.html
    css file: http://moin.phusion9.net/x/awareless/awareless.css

    When I hover over the main-nav-items (home, awareless, diensten...), some of the text at the bottom disappears.

    I've been webdesigning for a few years, but this is the first time I try to work with css & div-only.

    All help is appreciated

    They don't disappear for me (nice effect too) it must be and IE error, again these are hard to fix and I am not sure you will find much help there.

    What are you talking about lol These problems are easy to solve and I fix about 20 of them each day

    Just add position:relative to the element listed below.

    Code:
    #mainInfo{
    padding: 7px;position:relative;
    }
    Sopmetimes ie looses its stacking context and the background gets drawn over the text. If this happens just add position:relative to the element.

    This happens to image and floats sometimes especially to children of position elements or to elements with negative margins.

    However its easy to fix and a position:relative in the right place cures it. Sometimes you will need to follow though from the parent to the children but its easy to try out and takes a couple of seconds to work out what's needed.

    Hope that helps.

    You'll need it here also
    Code:
    #articleImage{
     float: right;position:relative;
    }
