    Old Browser Versions?

I don't have any of the old browsers such as IE 4 etc. on my computer. How can I test my web pages to see how they look in old IE and Netscape browsers.

    Try Old Version.com.

You should be able to download a bunch of older browsers there.

    Good luck.

    *EDIT:

Sorry, Old Version doesn't have that large a selection.

    For Netscape go to: http://sillydog.org/narchive/

There's also a heck of a lot of older browsers at: http://browsers.evolt.org/

    Again, good luck!

Did I dream this or read somewhere where you weren't supposed to install these older browsers to the same Program Files directory where the current version is at?

Like IE5.5 and IE6 being in the same directory.

/*edit--guess this only applies to IE, who would have thunk!*/

You can get IE4, 5, and 6 here. They can all run on the same machine with this package.

Even though a lot has been covered in the thread already, C|Net's Builder.com had an article on the topic of old browser versions and how to install them.
