tried to run crontab for the first time:

    entered this:

    ended up with this:
    [bullets@host9 bullets]$ crontab 0 0 * * * lynx -dump
    crontab: invalid option -- d
    crontab: usage error: unrecognized option
    usage: crontab [-u user] file
            crontab [-u user] { -e | -l | -r }
(default operation is replace, per 1003.2)
            -e (edit user's crontab)
            -l (list user's crontab)
            -r (delete user's crontab)
And when I go to view crontab jobs... it says that there are none!

    Any ideas?

    Thanx and God Bless

For crontab, you set up one and save it, so basically the syntax is not like that.
    Do this:
    crontab -e <enter>
edit the cron (it could use vi or pico, depends on the setup, if vi, press "i" then add the text you have there, if pico, the options are all at the bottom)

exit & save (vi: ":wq" ; pico: "Ctrl-X"

Or simpler, edit a file with that text you have, type:
crontab filename, it will install the cron
