Most of our advertisers pay between $0.60 and $20.00 CPM depending on where they choose to advertise, the more expensive rates go to targeted newsletter ads, the cheaper for run of network banner ads.

For banner ads we average about $1.00 CPM, and $0.20 CPC. For newsletter ads about $11.00 CPM and $0.31 CPC.

Most of our publishers average about $0.05 CPC, we have not yet started paying CPM, but have plans for it for the future.

    Hope that helps.

    Get lots of clicks...

I did overstate that a little bit though.

We do have another network wide CPC increase planned for early next year, though, $0.03 CPC for starting, and going up to $0.06 CPC with lots of clicks I believe.

This wont happen till January at earliest, however.

    Steb --

I'll add your site to the list of potential publishers for our upcoming CPM test.

If your site is accepted it should yield a effective CPM closer to $0.25 to $0.50, no promisees though

Also, Steb on a side note: I should recommend that you request early payment if your account has yet to reach the minimum balance. Pay period ends next week

    Warm Regards,
    Dan

dan : I look forward to your CPM test. any ideas on a roughly when you are starting?

regarding the early payment, I read on your site the minimum is $35 but last month I received a cheque for $26ish..dont think I requested early payment. What is the minimum payout?

maybe you should email me the info, as this is starting to get a little off topic ;0

Yes, last month we had an issue with our database where all our early payment requests were lost.

So we just sent everyone a payment, who had a balance over 5 dollars, which is the minimum amount allowed to request early payment.

This month we have corrected our database issues and will only issue payments to those with balances above $35.00 or those who have more than $5.00 and have requested payment.

We plan on doing the CPM test sometime in or after December.

    Warm Regards,
    Dan

I currently have another targeted ad running via BURST!, at $5 - which I'll take over nothing.

Run-of-network ads get me ~$1.5 CPM, as I won't accept CPM for 468x60 banners below $.50 CPM.

Well my literature site, which currently gets about half a million impressions a month, hasn't gotten any targetted advertising.

My wilderness survival site though, which gets about 150,000 a month, has 1 campaign this month at $10 CPM for 40k impressions. And 5 or so slated for next month... so atleast 1 will probably come through.

I've been finding that I can consistently make about $5 cpm on some of my sites, however, I have only been charging $.50 cpm on others, because money isn't really what I'm looking for, I'd rather deliver value first and go for a huge deal later on... and that's what generally happens... Draw them in with a starting campaign for $.50 cpm and 10K impressions and they seem to come back more frequently later on for a campaign for 500K impressions at $1.50 cpm or something. I don't like going over $2 though, even if they offer, I'll generally just go down and give them more impressions and essentially they'd be paying $2 or $3 cpm max, because it's not worth it these days and I don't like ripping people off if I am not trying to make money in the first place.

We almost always give first time advertisers lower rates, just to give them a larger test campaign so they can get a feel for our network before pumping large amounts of money into an ad campaign that they aren't sure is right for them.

Once they get going we offer them what essentially is a sliding scale: The more ads they buy the lower the CPM or CPC rate is.

    Dan
