"A's have it" strikes me the most but honestly, there are too many to choose from. I'm also torn between simple version 3 and puzzle pieces v1.

I love the way you did the layout for choice though. Very clean and pro-looking.

    Good luck with it.

I like #1 and #2. The rest are really boring, terrible poor colors. That green... yuck!

I think the best one is 'simple version2'... but the color isn't too good.

'simple versions 2' is by far the best. I think the icon is pretty much spot on, although I might be tempted stretch the left hand side of the A to touch the edge as it does on the left and at the top. The type face might need some work too.

If I were you, I'd concentrate on this one and develop some more options with regards to colour, type and positioning.

    Good stuff.

Thanks for the feedback. I have shared your comments and comments from anothe forum with the client.

FYI - the mockups were designed in a "design storm" by my partner and I. Sort of like a brain storm where "anything goes". Though we did throughout out the really bad ones.

My favorites were the simple series. His was "the A's have it". We'll see what the client says.

Also, the colors were chosen by the client. I provided him with 5 distinct color pallets, and this was his favorite (BTW -this palate is quite trendy at the moment, look at any design magazine.) That said, I am concerned that it may be too trendy for a logo. Perhaps I should do the logo in dark blue and save the trendier colors for the site and other non-permanent things.

I'm completely with URAlly on this one.

Simple Version 3 and Puzzle Peices Version 1 stand out as my favourites.

In my opinion Simple Version 2 isn't corporate enough.

Personally I like "target". The idea of a target has very positive conotations for an advertising company. It implies targeted advertising, reaching the right people with your message. I also like a logo that can work well without wording. It allows a lot of flexibility in regards to how type is used with it. It also allows you to use it as a graphic icon in its own right. Of course you will need to consider how the company name goes with it. Also I think its very important to consider how a strapline fits in as well. Its important to say what the company does!

He narrowed it down to "A's Have it" and "Twin Peaks".

I pleaded with him NOT to choose "A's Have it" as I think that it is far too complicated for a logo (print/production issues, as well as scalability issues). So, looks like he is going with a slight variation of "Twin Peaks".

He didn't like any of the "simple" series. I'm so hurt. He didn't pick any of my designs (all but the top three were my designs)

I love your presentation. Good luck!

"Simple Version 2", by far. I love the roundness of the graphic. The colors could use some work.. but I think all they need is a bit of brightening..

Good luck with this project, you've got a lot of good ideas!

Too bad. I think that's the weakest of the bunch. I also like simple 2. But hey, he's the client.

I agree that the colors probably need to be looked at again. I actually like them, but I immediately thought of the CA.com graphic.

I like A's have it personally. Would look good on a business card - more so than the others. Just my two cents.

I like 'Simple Version 3' a lot, it seems like it would work better fore everything you'll be using it for then all of the others.
