    Hello designers.
I'm not designer, and I probably never will. But I would love to hear
    a comments from you.
I've joined my company a couple of months ago, finally I've got my hands
on our web-site, which looks very ugly (I think). It seems that I'm having
a little problem to come up with optimal colors (3-4) for our web-site.
The users of our web-site are mostly 40+, or already retired. I really-really
don't like the old-style blue line on the left. The banner on top is useless,
the image links aren't needed... and so on. The site is for IE only... (im running Linux ).
Sinse I can not do bright and flashy colors (for retired people?), it'll be great
if you can help me with it. This is financial company, investment, 401(k)s,
management, etc. It's really important to realize that it is a $25 billion company,
which is owned by even larger financial empire.
    Thank you very much,
    John.

Actually, I think the current colors are very good for people in that age bracket. I would just substitute a different color in place of the red. Design wise, it is a little outdated, but it is still a very professional design. Just needs some work.
