1,77 m (equates roughly to 5'9 I think). I wish I was taller. But I guess the size is okay for a female.

You can tell this is a pretty accurate poll because of the curve in the graph. Very intresting!

It depends on when you asked. Winter or summer!
I'm taller in the summer and a little short in the winter.
I stay the same in the Spring and Fall.

    All because the temperature.

When I woke up, I found myself wondering if average height is still on the rise.

At 6' (182.88 cm) I'm not overly tall, but I was always one of the taller kids in school. Wayne Twitchell was a lot taller and ended up playing baseball for the Canadians instead of basketball. And Gloria Gardner was taller than everyone.

My best friend Jim was one of the shortest kids until he was about 18 and bested me by an inch. One of my step-fathers didn't begin to get his height until he was over 20!

Height has its' advantages. You usually have a clear view of parades. And disadvantages. It's difficult to look inconspicuous when volunteers are called for.

My grandmother was 4' 11" (149.86 cm) and my grandfather was 6' 2" (187.96 cm). I never saw them dance.

I thought it would be interesting to see how tall SitePointers are and what stories you have to share about height.

I know some of you are still growing, so the results aren't final.
