    Hi,

I have a big problem opening my image-files like jpg, gif and PSD since my father installed somekind of stupid program that came with CD Creator. I've uninstalled the program but now I can't open the pics at al, for example, when I open a JPG, I get somekind of winrar menu.

I just want my JPG/GIF files to open in a browser and my PSD files to open in photoshop.

    How should I do this???

    Try this:

Right click on the file and select "Open with..." from the menu. When a dialog box comes up choose the program you want to open the file with. Make sure you check the "Always use this program..." checkbox.

Hold shift then right-click on the file and select "open with...". Then choose what program you'd like to open it with, then check the box at the bottom to always open this type of file with this program or something similar.

Are you 100% positive that won't work? 'Cause I have WinRAR as well, and when I right click on the file I see "Open with..." which is a submenu, then "Choose Program..." which is a clickable item.

    Try this:

    Go to my computer
    Tools > Folder Options
    File Types
Select the file type you want to change, then click change
Select application, OK... you get the idea.

It'll probably be different of your version of Windows, but it'll be quite similar. Oh, I think it only works if you are in My Computer (ie. not c.

    Hope it helps.
