    Is pseudo WebDAV possible??

    Hello All!

Is there a way to create (or a script that will do this) a pseudo Explorer type interface so someone using a web site would be able to interact with site files as if in a "WebDAV" type of environment? That is, drag and drop environment.

Is it possible to create something like this on a PHP web site?

I am looking primarily for an OpenSource solution but all suggestions and references would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

It's not 100% clear whether you want to emulate a third-party WebDAV browsing/GUI tool in a web application, or whether you want to add WebDAV functionality to a site via some scripting.

I suspect the first (in which case surely WebDAV actually has nothing to do with it), but please elaborate!

Smile I think this is clearer.

    Hi MarcusJT,

    Thank you for responding.

Something that would enable someone to use a web site which would be able to interact with site files as if in a "WebDAV" type of environment.

This is more of what I mean,
    • is open source
    • supports WebDAV clients
    • works on average webhosts ( PHP preferred)
    • can have authentication integrated with a CMS (Cours Management System). (LMS) Learning Management Systems or (VLE) Virtual Learning Environments.
    • has a nice web-based GUI for access control, quotas, versions etc.
    Thanks again in advance.

Ok, that's much clearer. However, I am unable to recommend anything.

    Anybody else?!
