    Hey,
    Try this:

    http://httpd.apache.org/dist/binarie...n32-src-r2.msi

If you want to install PHP/Apache/mySQL all at once you could try PHPTriad, it's waht I use and is very simple to install.

    Yup, I have win98.

PHPTraid is just like installing a computer game, very, very simple. I first downloaded that and fulled around with it intil I got comfortable with apache and everything.

Then I downloaded them each seperatly and configured them just for practice. You never now when it will come in handy

    or try www.firepages.com.au/phpdev.htm

Which has PHP4/Apache1.3.14/MySQL/phpMyAdmin pre-configured/ready to run on 98 - you just have to unzip it.

Mine does that to I think...

When you trpe http://localhost and hit enter does it come up with the whole window to connect to the internet(with username, pass, number etc.) or "You must be connected to view this page Click here to connect click here to work offline". If it's the later of the two just hit connect and it loads the page and you don't actualy connect to the internet.
