    This should a be a simple question, but I wasn't sure about it. I am building a website and will have lots of folders to help organize the site. I will be using SSI for the menu to make it much easier to update later on. But what I need help on is the way I should link files. I heard its not good to link to a file using its full path with "http", but it makes more sense to do that. If I don't use "http", then I will have to create a different menu for each folder so I can link each file by going like this (<a href="../advertise">Advertise</>. Using ../.../ etc.. as more folders are added. Then that would mean I would have to have multiple menu's which mean more pages to update for adding a simple link to my menu.

    What's the best thing to do?. Is there another way to link the files that I some how missed?.

    Thanks;

    Ryan

    don't listen to them about the HTTP thing.

    Acutally, on the serious side, I always use the "http", and have never had a problem. Honest.

    I would recommend using HTTP for now, unless someone else posts here with better information.

    Good luck!
