    I need help with this script. It is a BigNoseBird Script It is suppose to be able to handle multiple surveys at the same time. I created a form and attempted to use it but I keep getting "500" errors.

    This is a hidden field which must be included in the form. When I change it according to instructions (I think I followed the instructions correctly). The script will not work. You have to change another file as well. The extension for this file is ".srv".

    This is how they describe how to change the hidden field so the scipt will work with a file different than their demo.

    "You can have as many surveys as you want. You indicate
    the name of the survey with the hidden form field named
    "survey_name". You then just name your survey.srv file
    to whatever.srv for each survey."

    The hidden file is essentially at the bottom of the script and is,
    <INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="survey_name" VALUE="survey">

    This was in the example given with the script and is located on,

    The html page I created is,

    No matter what I try I cannot get it to work,
    I initially changed the hidden file to
    <INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="ironstonegeneralsurvey" VALUE="survey001">
    and created a ".srv" file called "ironstonegeneralsurvey.srv"

    I thought this was the correct way to change it based on the instructions. It would not work however.

    If I place the hidden file as it is in the demo,
    <INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="survey_name" VALUE="survey">
    and keep the ".srv" file named "survey.srv" the script runs fine.

    What am I doing wrong???

    Any and all thoughts on the matter appreciated.

    Webbing Along!!!

    The way you have the script set up right now you should name the .srv file survey.srv

    <INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="survey_ironstone" VALUE="survey">

    If you wanted to use your previous code:

    <INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="ironstonegeneralsurvey" VALUE="survey001">

    then you would name the .srv file survey001.srv

    But I really suspect that the script looks for the form input named "survey_name":

    <INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="survey_name" VALUE="survey">

    so if you want to name your file survey001 I would use:

    <INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="survey_name" VALUE="survey001">

    and if you wanted to name your .srv file ironstonegeneralsurvey.srv then I would use:

    <INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="survey_name" VALUE="ironstonegeneralsurvey">

    Also make sure that the 500 server error is not being generated from uploading in Binary format or in a permissions problem (which I doubt because you say it works if you use the default demo settings)

    Hope that helps
