    basic beginner question

    I am trying to use sql server 2000 ce in my program. I have got it on the emulator ok, but now I am trying to write the code for it. I am using this site --> http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...cedatabase.asp as a reference it seems to be pretty good. Of course I am having problems. Right from the start it tells you to add certain references. The only way I know how to do this is by going to project -> add reference. When I go there I am missing some of the references that I need. including: using System.IO;
    using System.Text; using System.Collections; I see that they add these by using the keyword using, I have tried this but I can't figure out where to put it. Can anyone help me with any of these problems. I would appreciate it.

    What kind if project are you creating? System.IO is not avilable for the Compact Framework, so I son't think you can do it use a Smart Device project...

    If that helps at all...
