I am going to be doing a site, but I can't really tell you what it will be.

Lets just say classifieds. I am going to design pages for the website and I think I will have the classifieds in threads on a forum. Meaning each thread is a classified and I link the classified to the thread to get the full description. I would be the only one that can post threads. This is the way I was thinking of doing it.

I was wondering if there is a simple and possibly better way to do this? It must be easy and I would really like to be able to index them by categories (i.e. by state, by price) and having people be able to type in a state and get all the entries for that state, but I don't have the programming knowledge. Anyone help me out with a suggestion?

    Thank you in advance.

Well, since you don't have the programming knowledge, you'll have to either hire a programmer or get a free script from http://www.hotscripts.com or something, and hope it fits your needs.

    Justin,

Thanks, exactly what type of a script should I be looking for? (If there was one you were thinking of)

Sounds like you need to implement either ASP or PHP!

I know it sounds easier to get a script but by using PHP you could get a nifty little system going which you can use to update your site via a form and write to a mySQL database.

Looks like you need to visit the Trading Post and find youself a PHP programmer with some spare time!

Thanks, I'll take that into consideration. Although, I probably don't have a whole lot to trade.
