    List nav background in Safari

    Site url http://www.designed4hits.com/dev/ics/
    CSS

    Note: Most of this site uses legacy code with lots of tables (some using CSS), it's a bit of a mess, I know this.

    This site has had some of the links in the side navigation updated, So instead of creating yet another set of gifs I decided to go the CSS styled list route (cutting down on Photoshop work now, and even more work in the future) it works fine in all browsers, except Safari.
    For sme reason the list items take up less vertical space and so the background* pokes out from under the 'footer' section of the nav and looks nasty, any ideas?

    * The background has a horizontal gradient in it and is a single image, applyed to the background of the container div.

    Hi,

    I don't have safari but setting the line-height instead of padding on the links seems to work.

    with line-height

    without line-height.

    css:
    Code:
    #roundcont a {
    	display:block;
        padding: 0px 3px 0px 5px;
     line-height:18px;
     color: Black;
     text-decoration: none;
     border-bottom: 1px solid White;
     text-shadow: 2px 2px 2px grey; /*CSS3 Safri only 2px[right offset] 2px[bottom offset] 2px[blur/softness] grey[colour]*/
    }
