    ironing out some css bugs - need some help

    well i got a job for the summer making a site for some juicer company.
    so far i feel its going pretty ok, ive got the whole main page coded and just need some help ironing out some css bugs.

    here is the link i uploaded to my webspace so you can see:

    some problems i need help dealing with:
    1. on a resolution like 1280x1024 opera will display the big soup bowl only as far as the content reaches, even though it is specified to be at the bottom left of the body element - something IE and Mozilla are having an easy time understanding. (note i tried putting height:100% in the body element but that didn't work)

    2. i cant seem to get a 1px margin above the footer to work in all browsers (right now its only working in IE)

    3. also my min-width for the parent div seems to be failing. as you resize the browser, the layout gets distorted. (in IE)

    thanks guys

    1 the body will only stretch as far as its content (like a div, or similar box container). Opera actually gets it right here, in my opinion. you need to add the background image to the HTML element, not the BODY, and set its height to 100%
    Code:
    html { height: 100%; background: #fff url(imgs/bodybg.gif) bottom left no-repeat; }
    3 IE does not support min-width
    re·dux (adj.): brought back; returned. used postpositively
    [latin : re-, re- + dux, leader; see duke.]

    Try giving the footer a padding-top:1px instead (should look the same for your layout). Mozilla has a margin-top bug in some circumstances.
