Hi. I was wondering what software or web pages you use to mass submit pages to search engines and link directories?

    The short answer: Don't.
Longer answer: You, of course, can do whatever kind of promotion you feel necessary to boost your targeted traffic... But I would NOT recommend any of the "mass submission services" that claim to submit your site to "1,500+ quality search engines!" The fact of the matter is, most of these are useless linkpages or low-traffic directories -- not search engines. Focus your efforts on the top 5 or 6 search engines/directories. I would recommend the following:
    -- Yahoo! [yahoo.com]
-- Looksmart [looksmart.com] now powers Excite, MSN, Time Warner sites, AltaVista and more...
-- Inktomi Paid URL Inclusion Program [inktomi.com]
    -- Webcrawler [webcrawler.com] not necessary
-- Open Directory Project [dmoz.org] powers AOL Search, among others, can produce a huge amount of traffic.

You can find details on URL submission, or the submission forms themselves, from the homepages of these websites. I don't mean to discourage you from paid promotion, I just wanted to warn you... Hopefully this post will save you the hundreds of dollars that I had to spend to realize that "automatic search engine submitters" are usually useless pieces of outdated nonsense.

Best of luck with your website, and your marketing efforts.

Here is a very short and to the point article on mass submission programs.
