    Question IE Text Disappears

    Using the latest IE I run into the following problem, although it works fine in both Netscape and Mozilla.

    While viewing my webpage, which uses css, I scroll down and part of the text on 1 line disappears. The text does not complete disappear simply a 2px horizontal line on text that was where the status bar was.

    Has anyone had this problem or heard of this, I just donít know what to do?

    Thanks in advance,
    Paul

    How about a link to your page to have a look?

    Hi,

    Sounds like a position:relative bug.

    Add position:relative here:
    Code:
    #content{margin:2px;padding:2px;position:relative;}
    You may need to add it to your DirWeb class as well.

    In certain situations (usually on children of positioned elements) IE gets confused and the bacground gets re-drawn over the content. Position:relative seems to fix this (probably something to do with stacking context etc).
