Question CSS problem? I can't get my main content to valign top?

    http://www.burton-mouldings.com/v3/

I am working on this site for a client and I am trying to use quite a bit of CSS/asp.net to keep up with the changing times...

But on any page where the main content does not match the height/length of the left sidebar navigation area, it ends up lining up somewhere in the middle of the cell, with the footer far below where it should be in relation to the main content?

Can anyone see what I am missing to make the main content always start at the top of the page, and the footer to align with one empty row under the main content?

    Thanks!

    Tim

Hmm, this is what I have defined as the doc type

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

Although, ... looking at the validation results, I have a bunch of work to do on my navigation ID's ... D'oh!
