    should I replace my <br /> tags?

    I am currently re-doing an older site with XHTML 1.1 / CSS and wonder if I should replace the <br /> tags.

    I have a collection of links and books which looks like this:

    <p>
    item A title<br />
    item A link<br />
    item A description<br />
    </p>

    <p>
    item B title<br />
    item B link<br />
    item B description<br />
    </p>

    In the future, this could probably be done using the line tag in XHTML 2 - but what about now?

    Does it make any sense to replace the <br /> tags (which I use for semantical reasons) by unnumbered lists which will then be styled accordingly to look like a couple of <br /> tags?

    Or shoud I just stick with <br /> for the time being?

    What do you think?

    Thanks!

    That really does not only look like the best, but also the most correct way to do this!
