I'm following Kevin Yank's tutorial on Building A Database Driven Website with PHP and Mysql... I got everything working fine up to the point with the load module in the httpd.conf... LoadModule php4_module libexec/libphp4.so. That path is correct. But when i do a ./apachectl start in the bin directory it will say:

Syntax error on line 207 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so into server: libmysqlclient.so.10: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
./apachectl start: httpd could not be started

    Please help.. Thank you!

Did you compile PHP with the --with-mysql flag? PHP4 does not require this flag, as it has its own built-in MySQL support. Try recompiling PHP without it.
