    Question X-cart CVS format

    Hello,

I just purchased X-Cart Gold because of all the good things you people have to say about the shopping cart.

Could some one please point me in the rigth direction so I can find a sample file for a CVS that will have my Items. I like to see the sequence of the data so I can create it using excel then upload it to MySQL database.

    Kind Regards,
    Ricky

the demo of x-cart looks spiffy doesn't it?, although I'm not looking forward to scanning and dropping in all my images and descriptions. But without them, what good is a cart? I'm prob going to purchase also. Sorry I don't have answer though for what you asked

I'm not a fan of x-fart. Had several clients with them at first but all had troubles. They complained of a hard to use interface, lack of reports and poor support. I even lost one client because of this since I recommended them and then when I told them they were out of russia then that was it.

    Just a warning.

Have you posted on the X-Cart members forums for this? Just curious.

Yes I have and I was advise to create the categories and add couple og item on each one then do and export of products then look at it. Sure it was very easy to do it. I load it all 600 products in no time.

Sorry you lost a client johnsmith but I found x-cart very easy to use

    Kind regards
    Ricky
