I am using the #identifier to create links from one part of a page to another. However, when I link with an identifier to another page, the link ends up just at the top of the page, not at the place where I put the identifier. Is this a problem inherent to php, or am I doing something wrong?

    As an example, on page

    http://www.kripalushop.org/kripalu/l...palu_yoga.php3

click on the "bodywork" link at the bottom of the page. It will take you to the top of page

    http://www.kripalushop.org/kripalu/hs/hlth_svc.html

but not to the #bodywork identifier.

If your talking about HTML anchors then yes it does.

Just make sire the (dynamic) url you build in your php scripts looks exactly the same as if you were to do it in (static) HTML.

    Cheers......

I looked at your source code and I didn't even see the anchor point near bodywork, you will need an anchor point in order to use # style links, make sure to put a
    Code:
    <a name="bodywork">&nbsp;</a>
in the html near that paragraph on the bodywork page
Please don't PM me with questions.
Use the forums, that is what they are here for.

    Greetings freddydoesphp and Jason,

Thanks for the second pair of eyes. I added the identifier to the local page, but apparently forgot to upload it. It works fine now.

    Regards,

    Paul
