How do I sell products?

Hello,

I am working with my biggest client ever, a Lawayer, who would like to sell his contracts and other forms that he makes up over the Internet.

How would I go about doing this? I would like to stay away from the database stuff, but I realize that that might be the only way.

In a general sense, how would I go about doing this?

Getting to your question...

Your best bet would be to use a storefront program. This makes it so much easier, unless your familiar with MySQL and the trimmings. There are a number of programs out there. One that I find very easy to use and comes with all the trimmings (hosting, online catalog, shopping cart, unlimited e-mail, etc. etc.) for only $20/month, can be found here... http://www.merchantseek.com/turnkey

The first 30 days are free and you get a 1 years domain registration (.com, .net, .org) when you sign up. A really great deal. They have some example sites that use their services and they look real nice. No two sites look the same. Usually with storefront programs they design yours and everyone elses site the same way. Not the case here though. They can also help out with setting up to accept credit cards.

If that's not what your looking for then I'd suggest going over to OnlineOrders.net (http://www.onlineorders.net) and see what programs they feature.

Again, this is probably the simplist way to go about it.

Before you go investing in online stores, software programs, etc..

You might want to advise your client to sell through software
download applications over the internet.

I'm not so sure you need to invest in a store front for these
kinds of informational product applications.

Is your client selling the forms in electronic form? (e.g. PDF file)
Or is it hard copy?

If it's hard copy seems to me you can use a regualr shopping cart script.
